What is the difference between Powernet and Powernet-Knit?

Classic Powernet has a mesh-like structure and offers good support. Powernet-Knit, on the other hand, has a softer, microfiber-like surface and can also be processed in a single layer.

Another advantage: Powernet-Knit can be cut both lengthwise and crosswise. This creates more design options depending on the desired stretch direction and support effect in the pattern.

Usually, one side is matte and the other slightly shiny. This gives you extra flexibility and lots of creativity for your sewing project.

Powernet-Knit is considered the gold standard and is a true must-have for high-quality lingerie projects.

What firmness do I need?
For light support and smaller cups, firmness levels 1–2 are sufficient. For larger cups or shapewear, firmness levels 2–3 are recommended. Additionally, the fabric can be used double-layered for more support.
