What is the difference between ribbed and smooth swimwear elastic?
Ribbed swimwear elastic has a textured surface that bonds better with the fabric, slips less, and makes handling easier. It is the preferred choice for straps, underbust elastic, and waistbands in children's swimwear.

What width do I need for bikini straps?
15 mm is ideal for wide straps with good support. For narrower straps, 6 mm or 8 mm swimwear elastic is recommended – also available in my shop.
