The back part is made of lace sewn. Thanks to the soft edge of the lace The briefs do not cut into the bottom and do not leave marks. The Helena briefs are the first brief pattern that fits me perfectly in my purchase size right away and fits very well. And they look great too. Most briefs are both too short and too wide for me in terms of proportions. The instructions are very easy to understand – except for the description for sewing the elastic to the gusset. But if you've sewn other briefs before, it'll be fine. Overall, I'm very satisfied and will adapt the pattern for pure jersey briefs.
