Data protection information for applicants (Art. 13 GDPR)
With these data protection notices, we inform you about how we process your personal data in the context of an application process.

3. Purposes of processing
We process your application data for the following purposes:

Conducting the application process (review, examination, selection decision)

Contact and communication (e.g., inquiries, appointment arrangements)

If applicable, assertion, exercise, or defense of legal claims
4. Categories of personal data
We process the following categories of data in particular:

5. Legal bases of processing
Processing is carried out – depending on the situation – on the following legal bases:

§ 26 para. 1 BDSG (decision on the establishment of an employment relationship)

Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b GDPR (pre-contractual measures), as applicable

Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR (legitimate interest), e.g., for legal defense and to ensure a proper application process

Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a GDPR (consent), provided you agree to processing beyond this (e.g., longer retention / talent pool)
6. Recipients of the data
Only persons who need your application data to make a decision about your application will have access to it.
We may also use service providers (e.g., IT/hosting, email, or cloud service providers) who process personal data on our behalf. These service providers are contractually obligated to comply with data protection requirements (order processing).
7. Transfer to third countries
If services are used in the application process whose providers or subcontractors are located in countries outside the EU/EEA, a transfer to third countries may take place. In these cases, we ensure the necessary guarantees according to the GDPR (e.g., standard contractual clauses), as far as required.
8. Storage duration / deletion
We generally store your application data only as long as necessary for the decision on your application.

In case of rejection or termination of the application process, we usually delete your application data no later than 6 months.

Longer storage only takes place if this is necessary (e.g., to assert/defend legal claims) or if you have consented to this (e.g., talent pool).

In the event of hiring, relevant application documents are transferred to the personnel files and stored according to the applicable retention periods.
9. Talent pool (only with consent)
If we are to store your application beyond the duration of the specific application process (talent pool), this happens exclusively on the basis of your explicit consent. You can revoke your consent at any time with effect for the future (e.g., by email to timo@lingeriememade.de).

You have – insofar as the legal requirements are met – the following rights:

11. Right to complain to a supervisory authority
You have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority (Art. 77 GDPR). The authority responsible is particularly the supervisory authority of your place of residence or the data protection supervisory authority responsible for us.
12. Obligation to provide data
Providing your data is voluntary. However, without certain data (e.g., contact and qualification information), we may not be able to consider your application or not fully consider it.
13. No automated decision-making
An exclusively automated decision-making process (including profiling) does not take place in the application procedure.
