Are you new to sewing lingerie? Then the lingerie material pattern card is just right for you.

All the elastics that are needed for a pattern can be overwhelming for some beginners or others.
Strap elastic, iron-on tape, decorative braid, piping tape, folded rubber, décolleté rubber... how are you supposed to keep track or overview.

What is Powernet-Knit, Powernet, Powermesh, tulle, laminate?
There are no international standards as the fabrics are called, no standard composition and no standard color palette. While fabrics has one name in German-speaking countries, the same term can mean something different in English. Therefore, it is important to understand what you are looking for and for what purpose.

That's why I put together this map. You can expect:
